‘IGNITE’ Conference seeks to equip and inspire area leaders
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Best selling authors and local business executives encouraged hundreds of people to grow and develop their leadership potential.
The second annual “IGNITE Leadership Conference” attracted a sold out crowd to The Orchard Church in Tupelo.
IGNITE was organized by the Community Development Foundation and featured a wide range of speakers on topics such as attitude, body language, leadership skills, and strategies.
“Leadership is a choice. Your capacity to grow determines your capacity to lead. So, I think no matter what level you are, every single person needs to be growing. If they are a leader and when leaders grow, organizations grow. Every single person has to start where they are, but don’t have to stay there. If they start where they are and start taking steps, they will get to a place where the greatness in them can be unleashed,” said author and speaker Randy Gravitt.
There were also opportunities for networking and resources were available at an onsite bookstore.
