Video: Identities, Charges Released In Monroe County Drug Round-Up

MONROE CO., Miss. (WCBI) – The identities of those arrested in the Monroe County drug round-up have been released.

On Tuesday, Sheriff Cecil Cantrell led a successful bust in a drug round-up that led to the arrest of more than 20 people.

63-year-old Freddie Brown of Amory was charged with sale of prescription drugs.

40-year-old Adam Bruff of Hamilton was
arrested and charged with possession of a weapon by a felon.

30-year-old Jason D. Burnett of Hamilton was arrested and charged with sale of prescription drugs.

35-year-old Sabrina Cobb of Aberdeen is charged with conspiracy to sell methamphetamine.

40-year-old Terrell Coleman of Hamilton is charged with sale of a controlled substance.

43-year-old Carl Dobbs of Amory was arrested and charged with sale of methamphetamine.

30-year-old Charles Ezell Jr. of Amory is charged with sale of a controlled substance.

James Imel, 35, of Hamilton was arrested and charged with sale of prescription drugs.

29-year-old Jessie Jones of Greenwood Springs is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mary Kemp, 65, of Aberdeen, is charged with sale of prescription drugs.

31-year-old Keyon M. Lenoir of Aberdeen was arrested and charged with sale of cocaine.

65-year-old Ruby L. Morris of Aberdeen is charged with sale of prescription drugs.

Jazlyn Pitre, 18, of Aberdeen, is charged with sale of methamphetamine.

26-year-old Zachary K. Polk of Amory is charged with sale of cocaine.

James W. Shelton Jr., 54, of West Point,  is charged with sale of methamphetamine.

31-year-old Victoria F. Taylor of Aberdeen was arrested and charged with sale of methamphetamine.

53-year-old Johnny Spratt Sr. of Amory is charged with sale of methamphetamine.

Larry Wiggins Jr., 41, of Amory, is charged with possession of controlled substance.

Jeffery Wren, 42,  of Aberdeen, is charged with sale of prescription drugs and marijuana.

At least one juvenile was arrested in the round-up.

The name or names of any minors have not been released.

Amory Police Department, Mississippi Department of Corrections, and Monroe County Deputies assisted Monroe County Sheriff’s Department’s round-up.
