ICC Reports Abduction/Assault Case

TUPELO, Miss. – (WCBI) A student from Itawamba Community College continues to recover tonight after an alleged assault and abduction.

While no exact timeline has been released, the incident reportedly occurred on ICC’s Tupelo campus on Tuesday.

The student claimed the abduction occurred on campus, followed by a sexual assault.

The victim has been treated and released from North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

The community college’s police force, with the assistance of Tupelo P.D., continues to investigate.
