ICC Linebacker Named National Defensive P.O.Y.

ICC Linebacker Deryck Gildon was named the NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week after his performance last Thursday night agains Southwest.

“It’s a great honor” he said. “I thought everyone was congratulating me on the win and I come to find out I was Defensive Player of the Week. It is pretty cool.”

“We are very proud of Deryck. He is a great player and an even better person” ICC Head Coach Jon Williams added.

ICC plays MS Delta Thursday at 7:00pm.
