IAHS Hires Porter As Girl’s Basketball Coach

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) — Itawamba AHS announces Anna Porter as its newest girl’s basketball head coach.

Porter leaves Tremont high school, where she was the head coach for three seasons. During that time, Porter led the Lady Eagles to the playoffs each year, including a trip to Jackson in 2018.

Porter played for Itawamba AHS girl’s basketball ten years ago.

“I’m excited to get started,” Porter said.

“I have a lot of pride in this school and pride in that gym. Spent many years there. I’m excited to build this program and to see success. It’s all about the kids and I want to see them succeed on and off the court as well.”
