PHEBA, Miss. (WCBI) – The Hebron Christian Eagles reached the state semifinals in 2015 with a senior laden team in region 2A of eight-man football.
In 2016, head coach David Foster and his team had a huge drop off, finishing winless.
“I told them that I didn’t want to get in the habit of losing,” Foster said.
“We don’t want to get into that because you can fall into that rut sometimes and expect to lose. We don’t expect to lose. We want to expect to win. I’m going to stress with them, we just have to execute what we are doing and improve every game, and if we do that and keep improving, we are going to win some games.”
“We just got to keep taking our hits and getting better,” freshman running back Doug Loden said, “before too much longer, we will be able to return those.”
