Video: Houston Sundancers Have Solid Second Day of Racing

HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) — The Houston High School Sundancer solar race car team extended its lead today to more than 50 laps in an almost perfect day of circling the 1.5 mile Texas Motor Speedway.
The team is seeking its 14th straight national title against some of the most advanced high school solar car teams in the country.
Choctaw Central High School from down the road in Choctaw, Mississippi dropped to fourth after running into some problems today.
Wednesday, the teams take to the road for two days of racing from Fort Worth to Austin, Texas to determine the champion.
