House Fire Keeps Firefighter Busy

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-Columbus Fire Department was busy putting out a blaze on Washington Avenue Wednesday (10-24) morning. Around 8:15 the resident of the home noticed smoke coming out of the back of the house near the washroom and quickly called for help. Firefighters were able to put the fire out and the house only suffered smoke damage. No one was injured, the fire department is looking into the cause of the fire.
