Hospital Hosts Health Fair
WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point is teaching healthy habits.
The hospital held its annual community health fair Wednesday at the Wellness Center.
The fair offered screenings for blood pressure, heart attack risk, sleep disorders, diabetes and many other health problems. Participants could also get their flu shots.
The Wellness Center staff provided nutrition counseling, exercise instruction, and body mass index measurement.
West Point Police officers and firemen were also on hand to provide tips on personal safety.
This the 30th year the hospital has hosted the health fair.
