Holmes County Man Busted For Selling Fake Goods In Kosciusko

Jackson, Miss.- An investigation that started from numerous tips by concerned citizens in Attala County has led to the arrest of a Holmes County man for selling counterfeit goods, announced Attorney General Jim Hood today.

Robert Louis Glover, of Goodman, age 54, has been arrested following a joint investigation by the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office Consumer Protection Division and the Kosciusko Police Department. Law enforcement agents arrested Glover at a gas station in Kosciusko after the investigation uncovered that Glover was selling counterfeit goods to the general public. During the arrest of Glover, approximately $185,000 in counterfeit goods were seized.  The goods included North Face Jackets, Ugg Boots, Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors Handbags, and Nike shoes.

Glover faces up to five years behind bars and a $10,000 fine. As with all cases, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

This case is being investigated by Investigator Lee McDivitt, and will be prosecuted by Special Assistant Attorneys General Patrick Beasley and Shawn Yurtkuran of the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office Consumer Protection Division.
