Holiday Traffic Stats In

UNDATED, Miss. (WCBI)-It was a safe but busy holiday for Mississippi Highway Patrolmen.

A grand total of 2,658 tickets were issued to Mississippians on Mississippi highways.

78 of those tickets were DUI’s.

71 collisions were reported resulting in 27 injuries.

Fortunately, no one was critically injured and no deaths are reported.

Five of those collisions were alcohol related.
