COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Heritage Academy hosted its Veterans Day assembly for students in 4th – 12th grade.

Students and Veterans attended to honor those who fought for our freedom.

The guest speaker was the retired Lieutenant Colonel Bill Free who served in the Air Force for over 20 years.

He now gives back by instructing one third of all U.S. Air Force and international officers and pilots each year.
