Head On Collision in Columbus Injures Four

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – Columbus Police are investigating a Thursday afternoon wreck that injured four people.

It happened on Main Street, near 19th Street around 4:30 PM.

Two cars collided head on, totaling both cars.

Four people were hurt, two of them young girls.

Witnesses say they didn’t appear to have serious injuries.

Officers still don’t know what caused the wreck.

The section of Main Street was closed off, while first responders cleaned up the accident.
