Gulf Low brings round 2
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Scattered showers continue throughout our Saturday and early Sunday morning. The rain should move out of the region by the later half of Sunday to give us a pleasant start to the next work week.
SATURDAY: Gulf Low pressure system will be slowly moving NE across Mississippi. Rain will be consistently scattered throughout the day. High temperatures will reach into the middle 60s. Rain showers will be continuing into the early evening too. As the Low continues moving NE, the rain and cloud coverage will be moving out to the East. Cloud coverage will linger a bit longer, so overnight temperatures will only drop into the lower 50s.
SUNDAY: There will be a lighter chance for rain in the morning. The rest of the heavy cloud coverage will clear out to the East, leaving overall conditions much nicer for the end of the weekend. High temperatures will be back in the middle 60s. Low temperatures overnight will be falling again into the middle 40s.
