Guilty Plea Reached In Lowndes County Murder Case

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A man accused of shooting and killing his cousin pleads guilty to murder.

In the agreement, Billy Lee Kennedy was sentenced to 40 years in prison today in Lowndes County Circuit Court.

He pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the shooting death of his cousin.

41 year-old Carl Miller was killed outside a home on Puckett Ridge Parkway.

He was found shot inside of a pick-up that was parked in the driveway.
