Grand jury indicts Caledonia man on murder charge

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – He’s got an escape charge to worry about and now a Caledonia man has a murder indictment to face.

Phillip Shane House was recently indicted by a Lowndes County Grand Jury.

A trial date has not been set in the case.

House remains in the Lowndes County jail.

39-year-old Summer Danielle Tennyson was found inside her Grant Road home, near Caledonia, this past June.

Sheriff Eddie Hawkins said she was home alone when she was shot one time.

Tennyson was a mother of four children.

House is also one of two men who escaped the Lowndes County jail on Halloween night. He was caught on the grounds of the jail.
