General Election Day reminders

The Mississippi Secretary of State’s office has a few election day reminders for voters.

Polls are open until 7 p.m. Remember, if you’re standing in line at 7 Tuesday evening, you can cast a ballot.

There cannot be any campaigning for any candidate or party within 150 feet of a polling place, unless you are on private property.

No loitering within 30 feet of a polling place.

Have your photo ID ready when you get to the precinct.
