Gay Bar Lawsuit Could Reach Settlement

SHANNON, Miss. (WCBI) – A federal lawsuit concerning a gay bar could reach a settlement.

P.J. Newton filed for a special exception license last year but was denied.

Newton and his attorney’s asked at the beginning of May for further depositions to be taken, but was denied again “by reason of settlement.”
