TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – The Tupelo Furniture Market has sold out for the first time in three years.
Forty new companies dropped in to Tupelo to do business.
President Kevin Seddon says the hard work that was put in to reviving the market is finally showing results. Seddon says, “These folks are coming back, companies like United have come back, American has come back, these are just companies…some of them are certainly Mississippi companies that have not even shown hear and now the business is there and they have to come back and the buyers are coming so they’re here as well.”
The general public was allowed to begin shopping in Building 1 Thursday, and the public has the chance to buy through Sunday.
