Fundraiser Raffles ‘Tiny House’ For Sanctuary Hospice House
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A unique fundraiser allows people to support Sanctuary Hospice House, and enter a raffle for a portable home.
A 350 square foot “Tiny House” is up for grabs as part of the fundraiser. Five thousand tickets will be sold at $50 each.
The tiny house was built with donated materials and labor, and is valued at more than $85,000.
This week the “Tiny House” is on display at the Renasant Bank near Tupelo’s Mall at Barnes Crossing.
Organizers say it’s a great way to help Sanctuary Hospice House.
“It’s not a choice, all of us will benefit from Hospice at some point in our lives or someone we love will, we must support Hospice and our Sanctuary Hospice group serves North Mississippi, so they have a wide range,” said Mel Whitfield.
“Our Tupelo spirit runs very strong through the Renasant Bank organization and we’re proud to share that with other local businesses that provided materials, time and labor for this great project here,” said Louis Marascalco , of Renasant Bank.
The tiny house will be given away at the end of December. Organizers hope to raise $250,000 for Sanctuary Hospice House through the fundraiser. For more information, go to winatinyhouse.com
