Friday’s Forecast: Foggy Morning For Some, Sunny by Afternoon
A sunny dry day expected today. Certainly the opposite of last week where we had several inches of rain. High school and college games around the area will be dry. Enjoy!
Friday: We’ll start the day with fog and mist for some and then skies will begin clearing by late morning. Morning lows will be in the low 60s with afternoon highs in the low to mid 80s. Lots of sunshine expected this afternoon. Winds will be out of the ESE @ 5mph.
Friday Night: Clear skies will be the case for tonight with overnight lows dipping into the upper 50s! This will certainly feel refreshing!
Saturday: The first half of the weekend will be warm and rain free. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies. The Ole Miss/Alabama game in Tuscaloosa will be dry with kick off temps in the 80s and falling to the 70s by the 4th quarter.
Sunday: A tricky forecast for Sunday. The latest forecast models are not handling this next cold front very well in terms of timing. I do expect to see more clouds around on Sunday but regarding the rain – this is where uncertainly resides. As of right now I’ll keep with a 20% chance of rain but there’s low confidence in this at this time. If we see any rain, it looks to come in after dark, but that can certainly change.
Early Next Week: We’ll keep with a 20% chance of rain Monday – Wednesday under a mix of sun and clouds. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 80s.
