Freezing temperatures in the mornings
COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Conditions this week will stay calm and mostly clear. Mornings are going to be COLD, falling below freezing for a few days. Luckily, high temperatures will be mild most of the week.
MONDAY NIGHT: Thanks to a clear sky and already cool temperatures, tonight is going to get even COLDER! Overnight low temperatures will be falling towards the low to middle 20s across NE MS! As always on cold nights, drip your pipes and bring in outdoor pets/plants!
TUESDAY: The coolest day of the week, but luckily there will be plenty of sun! High temperatures will be only reaching into the upper 40s. Sky will remain clear, as a High pressure moves across our northern border. With more of the clear sky, sub-freezing temperatures will fall into the low to middle 20s again.
WEDNESDAY: A few light clouds may be possible, as the High pressure begins shifting East. High temperatures will increase a few degrees, reaching into the middle 50s. The sky will remain mostly clear overnight, allowing for another COLD night in the 20s!
