Freezing into November

COLUMBUS, Mississippi (WCBI) – Officially into the beginning of November and temperatures are cold! There will be a few more nights where temperatures are at or below freezing. Then a steady climb in temperatures will warm back into the upper 70s and lower 80s.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: The Red Flag Warning will be continuing until 7PM tonight, due to the fast wind speeds and dry conditions. Temperatures are going to be falling below freezing again tonight, with overnight lows ranging in the middle to upper 20s! Bring in your pets and plants! A Freeze Warning is in place until 9am November 2nd (tomorrow morning).

THURSDAY: A bit warmer. High temps will warm out of the 50s and reach back into the 60s. Cloud coverage stays clear and conditions will be remaining dry! We will be having another cold night, as temperatures will fall back close to freezing. Low temperatures look to be back in the low to middle 30s.

FRIDAY: Slow climb in high temperatures continues, making it into the upper 60s to lower 70s for the end of our week. All other conditions will be remaining the same. If you are planning to head to Week 11 of high school football games, plan ahead to be in something warm. Temperatures will be dropping through the night, especially once the sun sets. Lows will still be chilly in the upper 30s to lower 40s.
