Former Viking Turned NFL Running Back Throws Out First Pitch

ECRU, Miss. (WCBI) —  A special guest stepping on the mound and throwing out the first pitch for North Pontotoc baseball, Monday evening.

Former Viking Marcus Green was drafted this past Saturday to the Atlanta Falcons in the 6th round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Green becomes the first North Pontotoc alumnus to be drafted into the NFL.

Green says it still hasn’t hit him that his dream came true, but he’s ready to get to work
