Former Vaiden Chief Pleads Guilty

GRENADA, Miss. (WCBI) — The former Vaiden police chief and Grenada police officer pleads guilty to setting fire to a vehicle.

Allen Vance was sentenced to three years probation after entering his plea in Grenada County Circuit Court.

Vance was a patrolman with Grenada police and served as chief in the Carroll County town of Vaiden for more than two before resigning both positions last March after his arrest.
