Former Principal Stripped of Educator’s License

ALCORN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-A former Alcorn County principal is stripped of his educator’s license in Mississippi. last week, the Mississippi Department of Education voted unanimously to revoke Dan Burcham’s license following a hearing September 5th. Burcham was fired as principal of Alcorn Central Middle School in march after the school board investigated complaints that Burcham used his cell phone to take photographs of female students and employees in an inappropriate manner as well as harassed female students and employees creating a negative and intimidating environment. Burcham has ten days to file an appeal with the State Department of Education.
