Former ICC Player Armstrong Wins AFL Title

ORLANDO, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – Itawamba Community College sees one of its former football players win the ArenaBowl Saturday. Odie Armstrong had two carries and a reception in his Arizona Rattlers’ second-straight AFL Championship.

“It’s been a long journey,” Armstrong said. “God has taken me different ways but he brought me here for a reason and I can’t thank him enough. I want to thank everyone in Mississippi, Itawamba, Vardaman, back home baby.”

Armstrong playing at ICC in 2002. He was selected second team All-Arena Offense as a fullback for the third-straight season.
