Former Calhoun County Supervisor To Receive Retirement

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The former Calhoun County supervisor who pleaded guilty to a federal charge will have a retirement check.

Ernest Fox’s retirement was effective October 25th.

The board of supervisors approved his retirement at its morning meeting.

Fox pleaded guilty to extortion in federal county.

He received two years probation in the alternative sentencing route known as PACS.

It is customary for the board to approve notices of retirement, once it is submitted.
