Former Caledonia Coach Pleads Guilty To Sexual Battery
LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A former Caledonia soccer coached is sentenced to five years probation on a sexual battery charge.
Marco Suarez was arrested in May 2013.
Judge Lee Coleman recently signed off on the sentencing.
The sentencing called for ten years to be suspended. An exploitation of a child charge was dropped in an agreement with the court.
The victim, a former student, wrote the court to say she would have no objection if Suarez were to plead guilty to the sexual battery charge and be placed on probation.
Suarez must also register as a sex offender.
