Firefighters battle house fire in Artesia
ARTESIA, Miss. (WCBI) – Firefighters spend hours battling a house fire in Artesia Thursday.
The blaze happened on Obama Lane, just off Front Street.
Lowndes County Fire Coordinator Neil Austin said the fire started with a stove and then went into the attic.
It took several hours to bring it under control.
One of the firefighters did have heat exhaustion, but no one inside the house was injured.
District 2, 4, and 5 firefighters responded to the call.
