Fire scare reported at Columbus home

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A light fixture caused a fire scare at a Columbus home Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the 2500 block of Magnolia Circle, about 8:30 a.m.

No major damage was reported, and no one was home at the time.

Firemen said someone driving by saw the smoke and called 911
