Video: Fire Destroys Shuqualak Convenience Store

SHUQUALAK, Miss. (WCBI) — Firefighters are looking into what caused the blaze that destroyed a Shuqualak convenience store early Tuesday morning.

It happened shortly after midnight at C and K Quick Stop, off Highways 21 and 39.

The inside of the building was destroyed, even after both Shuqualak and Southwest Noxubee volunteer fire departments responded.

They don’t know what caused the blaze, but say it could be electrical.

The state fire marshal and Noxubee County sheriff’s department are investigating.
