Video: Fire Department Puts Equipment On Display

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus Fire and Rescue lets the public get up-close and personal with its trucks and equipment.

The department held its first-ever Fire Expo Thursday.

Daycares, organizations, and the general public stopped by the Kroger parking lot to see the fire trucks and other equipment firemen use for life-saving missions.

There was also a demonstration using the jaws of life.

Firefighter also conducted free car seat safety checks.

The department hopes to make the expo an annual event.
