Video: Fire Department Conducts Car Seat Checks

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus Fire and Rescue wants to make sure your precious cargo gets there safely.

September is Baby Safety Month, and firemen teamed up with Saum Chiropractic Tuesday for child car seat safety checks.

Parents dropped by to be sure their car seats were installed properly. If  they were not, they got a lesson on site.

Organizers say parents can bring their car seats by any fire station to have them checked for proper installation year round.
