Felony Drug Charges Near Burnsville

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A check-point ends with investigators finding meth.

25-year-old Andy Craig Simmons, is charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Felony Introduction of Narcotics, inside a correctional facility.

Simmons was arrested Saturday, October 14, on Jefferson Street in Burnsville, during a check point.

Tishomingo deputies and Burnsville officers, discovered Simmons had an expired driver’s license.

When Simmons was taken into custody, they found the meth on his person.

Simmons remains in custody at the Tishomingo County Jail.

Bond has not been set yet.
