Father charged with shooting son

PRENTISS COUNTY (WCBI) – A Prentiss County man is accused of shooting his son during a Tuesday morning argument.

C. GOFF Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar says deputies were called to a County Road 7030 home around 1:00 AM.  That’s where they found a 26 year old Austin Dale Goff shot in the chest.   His father 47 year old Christopher Dale Goff was arrested at the home and charged with Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault.   The younger Goff is in stable condition after he was flown to a Memphis hospital.   Bond for the suspect is set at $25,000.
