A Fatal Lee County Accident Leaves One Dead

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A high speed chase and a single vehicle crash leads to the death of 25 year old, Elvin Farrar.

It happened on Birmingham Ridge Road at approximately 10 p.m. Friday night.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the Booneville man was attempting to flee from local law enforcement when he lost control of his 2009 Toyota Yaris.

His vehicle left the roadway and overturned before striking some trees and a residence.

The investigation continues.
