Video: “Everything Home and Garden Expo” Rings in Spring

STARKVILLE, Miss. ( WCBI) — It’s time to get out your green thumb because spring is here and planting time is approaching.
People in Starkville have the chance to pick out some plants at the ” Everything HOME AND Garden Expo”.

This weekend’s expo is taking place at the Mississippi Horse Park and is filled with things to plant, eat and use this spring.

The expo has cooking demos, seeds for sale and plenty of blooming flowers.

Guest speakers are on hand to give a variety of gardening tips and organizers say now is the time to melt those winter blues.

” People are tired of winter, tired of cold weather. They’re anxious to get out in their gardens, so they can come to this and get inspiration, ” says Ellen Boles, Expo Co-chair.

The expo continues Saturday from 9 till 3.
Admission is 5 dollars,  children under 6 are free.
