Eupora Police Department hosts memorial ceremony for officer

EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI) – The Eupora Police Department hosted a memorial ceremony for an officer who sacrificed his life in the line of duty.

10 years ago on October 23, Corporal Keith Crenshaw was killed during a vehicle pursuit on Highway 82.

The Eupora Police Department continued the anniversary of honoring Crenshaw and his impact on the community he served.

“My son dearly loved his job. He loved the people of Eupora and he gave his all. In fact, he was off the day he went in to help. Little did we realize that at the end of the day, he would be no longer with us but there’s one constellation, he did doing what he loved,” said Larry Crenshaw, Keith Crenshaw’s father.

Keith Crenshaw served 10 years with the Eupora Police Department. He is survived by his six children, five grandchildren, father, and sister.
