Escaped Tishomingo County inmate caught in Alabama

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – An inmate who ran off during a roadside work detail has been caught.

Stephen Hancock was captured by law enforcement Friday night in Colbert County, Alabama.

Hancock has signed his extradition and is being brought back to Tishomingo County.

He will face additional charges for attempting to escape.
