Escaped inmate captured in Tuscaloosa following car crash
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WCBI)- After fleeing law enforcement for two days, an escaped inmate is captured across state lines.
Updated: Details released from Tuscaloosa arrest of Noxubee County inmate
According to Noxubee County Sheriff, Terry Grassaree, Kevin Rush, 37, fled law enforcement custody, while out on work detail.
Around the time Rush took off, a grey colored Chrysler 300, was stolen from Earl Nash Elementary School.
The sherriff says, Rush stole the car and wrecked it in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was captured there and will be returned to Parchman Penitentiary in Jackson.
