EndZone Game of the Week announced (Week 10)

Columbus, Miss. (WCBI) — WCBI’s EndZone Game of the Week for week 10 will be Amory at Shannon.

This 4A Region 1 battle has high stakes when it comes to playoff seeding. The winner will claim homefield advantage for the first game of the postseason, meanwhile the loser will have to go on the road.

Amory (7-1) was undefeated until falling by four points to eventual district champ Ripley last Friday. Shannon (5-4) has just one district loss and it’s also to Ripley. The Red Raiders will enter Friday night’s matchup with some momentum as well after stringing together three wins in a row.

The game kicks off at 7 p.m. at Shannon High School. We’ll have live coverage at 5 and 6 p.m. from Shannon and highlights and 10 and 11 p.m. on EndZone.
