An EMCC Football Player Passes Away Over The Weekend

JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – East Mississippi Community College is coping with the loss of one of their own.

Head football coach Buddy Stephens confirms to WCBI that sophomore Tyone Clemons was killed over the weekend.

Clemons passed away Saturday, following a car crash that happened around 11 that morning in Jones County.

Clemons was a Philadelphia native and former all-star at West Jones High School.

He played defensive lineman for the Lions, recording sixteen tackles and three sacks for the season.
