MEMPHIS, Tenn. and TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s a good bet that letters bearing a soon to be released postage won’t be marked “Return to Sender”.
The U.S Postal Service has announced that The King of Rock and Roll will once again be featured on a stamp.
A new addition to the Postal Service’s “Music Icons” series will bear an image of Elvis Presley. The new stamp will be dedicated August 12th at Graceland, just in time for Elvis Week festivities in Memphis.
This will be the second stamp featuring Elvis. Others in the Music Icon series include: Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin.
