Elite Comfort Solutions expanding production in Verona

VERONA, Miss. (WCBI) – A specialty foam manufacturer will bring 65 more jobs to Verona this year.

Elite Comfort Solutions announced they are increasing production with a $1.9 million investment.

The company said the investment will help it be more competitive in the “bed-in-a-box market.” The mattresses will be compressed and shipped from the company directly to customers.

The Mississippi Development Authority will help with building improvements and work-force training while Lee County will provide property tax exemptions in support of the project.

Elite Comfort Solutions currently employs 53 employees at its Verona location.

Production of the new mattresses is planned to begin in spring.
