East Webster High Coming Along
WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Construction is coming along slowly but surely at East Webster High School after April 2011’s tornado demolished the campus.
While the new layout for the high school and auditorium is being built, students have been relocated to the former Wood Junior College campus.
Webster County superintendent says construction took a while to begin, but the patience of the community has allowed them to look forward to the finished product.
“The progress has been really outstanding in the last month. we have gotten a lot accomplished we just really appreciate the efforts being put on with the construction company and we appreciate everybody being patient,” says Superintendent Jack Treloar.
The school is set to be finished in time for fall of 2013.
