Video: Fire Damages East Columbus Home

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A fire damaged a Columbus home early Friday morning.

It happened around 2:30 a.m.

Firefighters tell WCBI the blaze started in the front bedroom of the King Street home, after a candle was left burning.

A family of five lives there, and they do have insurance.

No one was home at the time, and the house only suffered minor damage.
