Video: Drugs And Guns Land Shannon Man In Jail

LEE CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A Shannon man is behind bars, facing several felony charges after a search turns up nearly half a pound of cocaine.
On Tuesday, May 3rd, Lee County Sheriff’s Department SWAT and North Mississippi Narcotics Unit got a warrant to search a home at 1580 County Road 506 in Shannon, Miss.
The search turned up 7 ounces of cocaine with a $14,000 dollars street value, 6 ounces of marijuana valued at $2,400 dollars, a 9mm Glock pistol, and over $2,000 dollars in cash, all of which were seized by law enforcement.
Marquis L. Holland was arrested at the scene and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
His bond is set at $125,000 dollars.
Holland’s arrest was the result of an undercover investigation by Lee County Sheriff’s Department and the North Mississippi Narcotics Unit.
