Drug Investigation Leads Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit To A Home In Columbus

LOWNDES CO., Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – On Friday September 30, 2016 Agents with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at the address of 1531 Shepherd Road in Columbus. The scope of the investigation which led agents to this location was to target the distribution of Ice methamphetamine on the streets of Lowndes County.

A search of the residence yielded a large amount of Ice methamphetamine, marijuana, cash, guns, a stolen vehicle, and a stolen motorcycle, and a stolen computer. This is an ongoing investigation and more arrests are expected.

Michael Jay Stacy, 38, of Columbus was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of stolen property, and drug endangerment of a child.

Carrie Lynn Stacy, 36, of Columbus was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of stolen property, and drug endangerment of a child.
