Drug Bust In Clay County Nets Two Suspected Dealers

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE)- Two suspected drug dealers were arrested in Clay County Wednesday.

The joint operation by the Sheriff’s Office, West Point P-D, and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics resulted in the arrest of West Point residents Antone Logan and Angela Young.

According to Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott, a large amount of marijuana, ecstasy and multiple narcotic pills were seized as well as a stolen firearm.

The search warrant was executed at 125 Meadowhill Road in West Point with the approximate street value of the narcotics in excess of $5,000.00.

Young is housed at the Clay County Detention Center with a $100,000.00 bond for the drug charges and an additional $10,000.00 bond for an embezzlement charge.

Logan is out on a $100,000.00 bond for drug charges.
